Feeling Hot, Hot, Hot!!

This is the most gorgeous picture I took in Hawaii. I made James wait for a bit so I could catch the perfect wave rolling in. I think I did! :-) I'm posting this not because I have hit the jackpot and am off for a quick getaway to Oahu, but because I have MAJOR CABIN FEVER!!!

We were supposed to have Logan's Valentines party at preschool today...rescheduled for the second time...but school was canceled AGAIN because of the snow. (I think James was more upset that we weren't getting our money's worth for this month of school than Logan was about not having the party again ha ha). Not really sure why the city doesn't buy a couple more snowplows...but either way that leaves us to find entertainment within the confines of our home.

Now I love our home- don't get me wrong- and I've actually gotten quite a bit done today- cleaning and the usual, but also breaks for puzzles, the cookie matching game, and a rousing game of Hungry Hippos among other things. The thing is...I LOVE the sunshine. I love being outside. I love being warm and going on walks and laying in green grass watching the clouds. I do think there's a time for snow- if I'm snowboarding, or sledding, or building a snowman- but I've learned that I prefer to visit snow rather than live in it.

If I could choose any place to jet off to right now? It'd be a beach- a caribbean beach- with warm water, white sand, a gentle breeze, lush vegetation here and there, and a tropical smoothie. Mmmmm Good thing I have such a great imagination!! :-) That'll hopefully keep me going through the next...let's hope no more than two months... of this snow!

Gorgeous picture, lady! You can come visit us in Florida anytime =), or maybe we can all head off to Hawaii sometime, let's keep that dream alive!

I'm with you there...I'd much rather visit snow than live in it. That's why, upon graduating from BYU, I moved to Southern California and then after Corey got the offer to go to Arizona, we took it. I much prefer sunshine to cold, but I do like green, which is something Arizona very much lacks...

Ahhh the Carribean sounds wonderful! I love the picture. You've got skill. We miss swimming with you guys! In the summer we'll all be very jealous of you.

That is an amazing picture! And...you could imagine Arizona in July and that might help too. :)
