Katie wore her beautiful dress in honor of mother's day! I absolutely adore Katie- what a sweet girl. She woke me up this morning at 6am- to which James said, "stay in bed- Happy Mother's Day"- and gave me a kiss. He then brought Katie to me so I could feed her- and she was holding a beautiful pink rose.

After a lovely rest, shower, and time to get ready all by myself, I headed downstairs where I could smell breakfast cooking. I was met at my door by Logan holding two roses- one from Luke, and one from him. :-) How sweet is that? Lukey is my oldest by 9 minutes. Here's a pic of the two of us when we were at Sea World in 2005. I love this boy so much!!

Logan was really excited this morning to show me that they had made breakfast. Eggs in a basket (James' specialty), and sausage (Logan's favorite). :-) Logan is the 'man of the house' when James isn't home. :-) He's the guy I can count on if I need a favor, whether it be helping Tyler get dressed, getting Katie a toy, or playing with someone who needs a friend. Logan is always singing. ALWAYS. :-) He's loves to make goofy faces, and makes Katie smile just by looking at her. He and Luke first made me a mother- what would I do without Logey?

Tyler man handed me a rose next- he tried to copy Logan with the "Happy Mother's Day" but it came out with lots of sounds and then "Day" ha ha. Later on when there was less pressure, he told me "happy mudder day". He is growing up so quickly- he is so much fun- loves to laugh, and most certainly is the most talented Nintendo DS playing 2 year old I've ever seen...perhaps because he refuses to put it down.... :-) He still loves to cuddle, though- a trait I hope he doesn't outgrow too quickly. I love you Tyler Bug!

After our tasty breakfast, we all headed up to get dressed, and then took some pics before church. Logan tried really hard to keep his eyes open in these pictures, but evidently the sun was just too bright. I'm going to try to take more later when the sun's less of an issue- he looks SO cute in his outfit! :-)

And here you have the man of my dreams. He gave me the rest of the dozen roses with a very sweet card. James never fails to make Mother's Day a special day- I feel cherished and loved even beyond the usual. He takes such good care of the kiddos and me, and I'm so happy I have him to share my life with.
After church we had a picnic lunch of PBJs and Kool-aid Pink Lemonade (another of James' specialties), a nap, and time blogging. I could pretty much head to bed for the night and be completely satisfied with this most perfect day.
I hope you each of you Mamas have a wonderful Mother's day!!
