First of all, props to all mamas out there! Happy Mother's Day! Before I post about us, let me first say we have the most amazing Moms in the world! I love going to visit James' Mom because she always makes us all feel so welcome- I got the pleasure the last time we were there to hear her teach a lesson in Relief Society and it was so wonderful- I learn something from her every time we go. Love you Pam!
My Mom is the first person I call to ask about anything remotely related to food prep, sewing, or movie-star trivia among a ton of other things, and is always willing to drop everything and fly out (or drive now that we're closer- wahoo!) should we have some crazy emergency or surgery, etc. I love calling to give her the update- even if it's just the recent heartbeat of Baby Girl. She always is interested in what I have to say, and gives me some of the greatest advice ever! She's a fabulous 'Nonna' to my kiddies as well, and treats James like her own- we sure love you Mom!!
And now, the people who have helped me appreciate my Mom even more...Luke, Logan, Ty, Baby Girl, and also James (he helped me become a mom, you know! ha ha)

Here is my adorable Logan on Mother's Day. He is such a doll- he made Mother's Day cards every day for the few days leading up to Mother's Day. The morning was wonderful as I got to sleep in (a MUST for Mom's on M.D!), though it was so fun listening to the hustle and bustle that was going on downstairs I don't know as though I really slept... the boys made me a yummy breakfast of 'eggs in a basket' and fresh orange juice and bacon. Then James got everybody ready for church while I primped myself. We got home and he made me lunch and got the boys down for a nap. This left plenty of time for a nice nap ourselves! Next, steaks on the grill and baked potato...YUM!!

You'd think that'd be all, but NOPE! We spent the evening making chocolate chip ice cream in my brand new ice cream maker!! (I got it a couple of weeks ago at a garage sale for $5.00! Is that a steal or what?! And it was new in the box!!) It came out REALLY well- though I've never really met an ice cream I didn't like....ha ha I also picked up a tool bench for the boys- and that is why Logan is wearing safety goggles. No, ice cream makers aren't all that dangerous.

Here's Logan holding my belly- it's amazing how far it pokes out when I stand up straight. This is my nice 'after church' outfit. Oh how I love my pregnant body. :-)

Here's Tyler- he didn't quite understand the idea of putting his hands on my belly to feel the baby- he just kept sticking them up like a hold-up. :-) It'll be fun to see what he does when my belly gets small again and we have a baby...

And THIS gorgeous painting is one I picked up in Paris almost 10 years ago. It has been sitting in a tube for way too long and James pulled it out, learned how to stretch the canvas, and then framed it for me!! I was ECSTATIC!!! I smile every time I look at it. Can you believe I was actually in Paris and bought this painting?! It seems like a lifetime ago- but it sure is fun to look at it now and see that couple holding hands in the center- that's James and me, I'm sure of it. :-)
What a sweetheart I have who makes sure that even on my not-so-pleasant-pregnant days I hear I'm loved and beautiful. Thanks for such a great Mother's Day, Honey! And of course my babies too!! I can't believe I'm soon to have 4 kiddies- WOW! :-)
