Getting Closer...

Just a quick post to give the updated stats. Baby Girl is 3 lbs 5 oz as of today at 11:00am. No, I did not give birth- I'm just one of those lucky moms who gets to do ultrasounds once a month! Today was a perfect day to see her- I've been really dreading the 'getting her out' part, and debating whether or not I really want to get her out. I don't enjoy pregnancy really, but honestly- who wants to DELIVER?! After getting a glimpse at that sweet little face, I've decided I'm going to go through with delivering her (albeit by c-section) rather than keeping her inside forever...as scary as it is. She's measuring 31 weeks, which is exactly where we are, and her heartbeat was 120- she was sleeping the entire time! I got to see her hands near her face- it was so cute! The other fun thing was that the tech said she has hair! :-) The boys each had tons of hair, so I was really hoping their sister would as well. Sounds like she will! And the best part was that I think she has James' lips- they were so cute and pouty- I can't wait to see her in color! :-) The countdown is now officially 7 weeks....so close, yet so far away.... :-).

"so close, yet so far away" is right...fast for all of us who aren't pregnant. :-) I'm so excited for her to make her appearance!

You sound exactly like me. I am dreading the delivery so much. It just really isn't fun getting cut open. What day do they have you scheduled?? I am still working on mine. We haven't decided. Good luck. I really was hoping there would be a picture of your ultrasound. I can't wait to see her.

I was "lucky" to require ultrasounds every month with Olivia for the last trimester. When they told me she had hair it was a weird but cool thing knowing that I wasn't going to have a bald girl!

Glad she's healthy, and everything is looking fine. The thing I dread/love about having a baby is the first few weeks. Newborns are so sweet, but you're SO tired, especially with other kids to care for. I can't wait to see her, I'm sure she'll be gorgeous! Good genes, ya know!

Glad she is good, I like the new look! I'd love to see new pregnant pictures and any ones of the girly too. How's the room coming along? Love you guys!

I hate pregnancy, to be completely honest. I wish my baby could just be handed to me. Once the baby is here then I love it. I'm so excited to see a baby Shield girl. Good luck with the delivery.
