So, WAY too many years ago (8 in fact), I had the pleasure of living in London for a semester- by far my greatest semester in school- I mean honestly, who could NOT enjoy a Tuesday evening 'Theatre Night" every week?! Anyway, one of the best parts of the trip was when my family came out to pick me up. We were riding the tube one day, when we noticed an advertisement- no idea what it was for- that said something to the effect of 'Monkey Faces', and it explained some of the common faces monkeys make and what they mean. Well, we had a blast making those faces throughout the rest of the trip, and off and on ever since. Just the other day I taught my boys and James the faces during dinner. :-) We are very reserved during our evening meals, as you can tell. A few days later I was asking Tyler to smile for the camera, and the monkey faces started coming out. It was so funny- here are his version of three expressions.
A smile in "monkey face" actually equals anger. (At least that's what this poster said). Here's Tyler doing "monkey anger."
An 'oh' face means "happy." Tyler REALLY liked this one.
This is his favorite face though- this means "playful." Isn't it cute how chubby his cheeks are?! :-) Now everyone go practice monkey faces and see how much fun it would be to be a monkey. ha ha ha

So cute! :o)
That is too adorable. Sounds like your dinners are as 'reserved' as ours.
