An orchid can enthrall..
but a weed bouquet in a chubby fist.
That is the best of all."
I love this quote- and how perfectly it matches Tyler's sweet little chubby hand! :-) Just the tops of the dandelions of course- that's the pretty part.
And why does Tyler pick me dandelions? Because he learned it from his big brother Logan! Anytime Logan sees a flower in the yard (yes, unfortunately we have dandelions invading our yard somewhat...), he runs to pick it for me. He's taught Tyler to pick flowers for Mom, and since Tyler does absolutely EVERYTHING he sees Logan do, you can bet he does exactly that.
He and Tyler love to ride in his power wheels Jeep, and I can usually guess when I hear it stop that in a few minutes I'm going to have two rosy-cheeked boys with a fistful of flowers for me. It's absolutely WONDERFUL! They take such good care of me.
And where did Logan learn to bring me flowers? From Daddy of course!!! (though Daddy rarely gives me dandelions...)
(Hint for the Honeys that may be reading this: Mother's Day is just around the corner...)

Here are my lovely dandelion tops floating in a vase. I'm such a lucky girl!

I love it! My little girl brought me her first dandelion just the other day. Your boys are adorable.
Precious! I never thought to take pictures of them, but will now. And by the way, awesome photography of Tyler's hand, it looks like a professional shot...another talent of Mrs. Cari Shields! =-)... Love you guys!
My boys are always bringing me ivy leaves (they think they're flowers) from all the ivy growing in my parents' yard! They're so sweet to think of me, yet how do you tell them they can't pick stuff out of the yard to bring me?
